I find it so difficult to fathom the fact that I have finally been able to create my very own interactive masterpiece. Hard work, Passion and Dedication are the three things that constantly surprise me and if not for them this would not have been possible. If there is one thing that I have learnt from 2014 it’s that time is definitely precious and if you don’t try to pursue your dreams and aspirations they might just pass you by.
Since my blog mainly revolves around style and fashion I feel that it would only be fitting if my first post is a look post. Suits in bold colours have been one of the hottest trends this past couple of seasons. However, this summer it’s time to take it down a notch. I love how brands such Bottega Veneta and Berluti have showcased strong beige and nude hues in their Spring/Summer 2015 collections. Bold colours certainly do make a statement but Neutral colours are simple yet elegant and if worn correctly not necessarily boring.
I am wearing a beige blazer that I purchased from Zara. As soon as I laid eyes on it the first thing that came to mind was ‘I can do so much with this’. I also purchased the trouser and wore it as a full suit paired with tan brogues. Pictured above I decided to go for more of a semi-formal look and paired it with light blue faded ripped jeans.
Share your neutral summer look on Instagram and Twitter by using #BlvcktheBlog to be featured on our BtB Readers Style page that will be coming soon…
I love suits! They’re just so polished and cool.

Fantastic outfit and post. I used to despise anything neutral, but as my style is continually evolving I have grown to love it. Wise purchase!

Thank You!! I can relate…I honestly never saw myself wearing anything neutral because of my obsession with the colour black and dislike for anything bright and cheerful. I actually purchased the blazer with the trouser and it looks amazing when worn together 🙂
